Jason Lowe July 7, 1980 - Aug. 9, 2001

My son Jason passed away on August 9, 2001 after a year-long battle with Ewing Sarcoma (cancer). He turned 21 on July 7. His love was teaching drumline to high school students and marching Drum and Bugle Corps. He was a remarkable young man and touched many lives. His sister Diana and I miss him very much.

An Introduction from a Fellow Goldfish Fanatic

Welcome to The FishFactory. This site is a direct result of an obsessive hobby. Mine. Yes, it's true, I too, am an addicted goldfish fanatic. I've been keeping fish of some type since I was 12 years old but completely switched to goldfish 20 years ago. I presently keep ryukin and lionhead. How addicted am I? Well, let's put it this way . . . I buy more goldfish food then people food! Nah, just kidding!

This site focuses on the information most sought after by the beginning goldfish hobbyist. Included here are the basics of Caring for Goldfish - water quality, temperature, housing and diet. You will also find illustrations of the most popular goldfish breeds along with descriptions of their particular body traits as outlined by the Goldfish Society of America.

Some of this sites information is a result of my own personal experiences while some is provided by other hobbyists, many of which whom are considered goldfish experts. My hope is to develop this site into the "ULTIMATE" GOLDFISH INFORMATION SOURCE and make it a fun site as well. While you are here, be sure to enter my contest.
